"Play Along"
We provide popular TV game shows with interactive channels enabling viewers to participate and win. These services may be as simple as just one question to the audience, or they can be more complex, letting users play along in real time with the contestants in the studio. The high capacity of our systems allows us to receive and process massive call and message volumes in very short times.
Screen & Teletext Chat
Users' SMS messages appear on a designated page of the partner TV's teletext or scroll through the bottom of the screen during certain programs.
Screen text adds an important element of interactivity to virtually any program, while teletext chat directs attention to the channel's text pages and thus increases their commercial value.
All messages are carefully moderated via a two-phase process: automatic, vocabulary based screening followed by moderation by live operators.
Voting
Users send in (SMS) or call in (IVR) their votes - the real-time results can be inserted into the program.
Jukebox
TeleMedia's Jukebox is a fully automated music TV system. Using premium rate phone lines and/or SMS, viewers vote for the music clip they would like to see next. The system always plays the most voted for clip that has not been on air since a certain fixed period of time (e.g. one hour, etc.). Music Box ensures optimum user satisfaction and introduces the exiting element of challenge, too: actually, it is a battlefield of music fans and hits.
The entire program is computer driven: once set up, Music Box requires absolutely no human labor, apart from periodic maintenance and the installation of new clips.
Besides its core functionality, The Music Box comes with lots of extras. Viewers can participate in various games, send on-screen dating messages (personals) via SMS or engage in on-screen or private chat.
The Ad Game
TeleMedia's Ad Game not only generates substantial revenues, but also increases the value of advertising airtime by compelling viewers to watch the commercial blocks from beginning to end. A two-part puzzle is inserted into each block, the first part at the beginning, the second near the end. Only those can known the answer who have seen both parts.
Content Downloads
Content closely related to the channel (e.g. theme songs of shows, portraits of various faces of the channel, etc.) are offered for download to the viewers. Besides generating substantial revenues, this service is also an efficient vehicle for the advertising of the channel and increasing the loyalty of viewers.
