BANKVOX, TeleMedia's telephone based account information and transaction system supports a wide range of functions:

• up-to-date marketing, conditions and rates information;
• client account balance information;
• client account turnover information;
• transfers to any of a set of target accounts pre-determined in the client's contract with the bank.

BANKVOX is extremely safe for both clients and the bank: it allows no direct access to the bank's databases, thereby precluding the possibility of break-ins, and provides clients with a variety of security functions.

BANKVOX offers great flexibility to the banks using it: public marketing information may be modified directly on the phone by authorised banking employees without the necessity of halting the system. BANKVOX is supplied with TeleMedia's audiotex application designer, a GUI toolkit that enables banking professionals with little knowledge of programming to design new applications or modify existing ones in a matter of hours.

BANKVOX supports fax and GSM mobile telephone SMS messaging and live operator connection.
